Current FSD risks to watch for
Examples on this page cover many of these. The list is extensive, but it may not be exhaustive. Always stay alert — you are still the driver.
Slow-speed
- Shopping-cart returns (Autopark / destination parking reversing into the corral)
- Concrete pillars and tight lot obstacles (especially Summon)
- White pylons / flexible parking posts
High-speed
- Express / HOV lane barriers and closed-lane gates
- Railroad crossing arms
- Low static debris — potholes and similar road scars
- Logs / large fallen debris — mainly an HW3 risk
- Snow and ice — unplowed roads and blizzards (FSD often handles these well; see Snow clips) — feather the pedal for regen
- Heavy rain, flooding, and other vision-limiting weather
